At the start of Day 7 we were ready to be in Anchorage... so we decided we were going to push through and get all the way there.
We left our sleeping quarters and got on the road. Libby was so well behaved the entire drive. Except for the time she barked at the Black Bear and tried to jump out of the car at the Bison... Here she is enjoying the ride and the view!
We made it to the border and through Customs... Got our passports stamped with Alcan, AK!
Welcome to Alaska!
Mt. Sanford. One of the tallest 10 in Alaska with a summit elevation around 16,000ft. It is a dormant volcano.
The Matanuska Glacier, about 45 miles north of Anchorage.
We made it all the way to Anchorage about 19 hours later and the house was a welcome site.
This morning as we left to get breakfast and do a couple errands, look who came to visit!
Thanks for following our roadtrip adventures! Now, on to getting all the stuff moved in!
