A friend from work that has gone on a couple hikes with me so kindly invited me to his parent's cabin for the day to do some general hanging out and most importantly water skiing! It was a new concept to me of skiing in cold water... they had wetsuits we could wear, so it wasn't awful, but just being wet and outside and in a boat afterwards was COLD!
We went to a lake called Crooked Lake which is about a 2 hour drive north out of town. When you got there, you could only park in a parking lot and take a boat over to the actual property... so it was kind of neat in the fact that you couldn't "drive" there, you had to "boat" there.
