North Slope Wildlife... and Misc other slope pictures...

 I was proud of this picture of the tundra :)  So, I thought I would share.  It doesn't usually look this pretty, not usually blue skies and clear and thawed.

There were also lots of red foxes and arctic foxes, but I didn't get any good pictures of them... there are also lots of brown bears and polar bears and musk ox but I didn't see any this trip :(

Also, while I was there, I got some good views of the mountains... here's a distant shot of the Brooks Range.

And the mountains on the flight home...

It was a great trip and ready to go back :) (although it is "winter" there now already... so maybe I should wait)
